The countries of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden situated in the Northern Region of the globe, share history, culture, and climate that has created a certain Nordic Way.
Nordic Like is a place to experience the Nordic Way through the windows of History (Viking Age and up), Culture (Art, Language, Traditions, Values), and Climate (Nature of the North).
Nordic Like is managed by Elizabeth Stokkebye, who immigrated to California from Denmark with her Danish husband and three children. Elizabeth graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a BA in Scandinavian Studies and from the University of Washington with an MA in Scandinavian Languages and Literature. She is an artist and a writer.
